Role Overview

PulseLearning is seeking a Creative Instructional Designer with a passion for storytelling and innovative learning experiences. In this on-demand role, you will craft engaging and custom eLearning solutions that blend creative writing, instructional design principles, and cutting-edge learning technologies. Your expertise in narrative-driven content will transform complex topics into compelling and interactive learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Design & Content Creation

• Design and develop creative, custom learning solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to craft engaging learning experiences.
• Create eLearning modules, interactive learning paths, assessments, job aids, and instructor-led training (ILT) materials.

Creative Writing & Storytelling

• Develop compelling text, audio, and video scripts with a strong storytelling approach.
• Utilize creative writing techniques to enhance learning engagement and retention.
• Integrate narrative elements into training content to drive immersive learner experiences.

Collaboration & Development

• Work closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with graphic designers and multimedia specialists to develop visually engaging and interactive learning materials.
• Ensure learning solutions align with brand identity and training goals.

Research & Innovation

• Conduct content analysis to ensure accuracy, relevance, and instructional effectiveness.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in instructional design.
• Leverage multimedia and blended learning approaches to enhance engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6 years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, and creative storytelling.
• Strong expertise in instructional methodologies, adult learning principles, and technology-enabled learning.
• Proven ability to create engaging and interactive training experiences.
• Exceptional creative writing skills, with experience crafting scripts, narratives, and engaging content.
• Proficiency in developing multimedia content, including video scripts and performance support resources.
• Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate effectively with virtual teams.
