Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team. The Field Technician will be responsible for providing on-site support and maintenance for various security systems. This role requires expertise in handling hand tools, low voltage systems, various mechanical tasks, and troubleshooting equipment functionality and isolated issues.
Duties:
- Conduct installations, repairs, and maintenance of security systems in the field
- Perform testing using tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters
- Configure and troubleshoot Ethernet connections
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure efficient field service operations
- Troubleshoot any issues previously detected.
- Use mechanical skills to replace any damaged of faulty equipment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools for installation and repair tasks
- Experience with low voltage systems and electrical components
- Knowledge of Ethernet configurations and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to operate Multi-meter, as well as other tools for testing purposes
- Mechanical skills to perform any needed repairs or replacements.
