Inventory Associate
Summary Job Description:
The coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily purchasing, inventory, and shipping needs of the company and helps maintain a smoothly operating warehouse. Must be self-motivated, well-organized, and able to multitask. Reports to Manager of Design.
Principal responsibilities:
-Researches and evaluates vendors and products to secure the best price and value.
-Coordinates shipments, logistics, and needs for all projects and multiple sites.
-Tracks product inventories, updates BOMs, and solves any discrepancies.
-Orders, receives, and manages part requests and purchase orders.
-Drive company vehicles as needed to run errands.
-Help maintain a clean and organized facility.
Job Requirements:
-Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites.
-Verbally and through writing, effectively communicate with associates and vendors in a professional manner.
-Familiarity with mechanical and electrical parts and nomenclature.
-Preferably able to lift to 75 pounds
-Must have valid driver’s license and pass a background check
Schedule:
-Monday-Friday, Full-time, Start time 7 am at the warehouse/shop
