What are the responsibilities and job description for the Party Planner (supervisor, reservationist) position at Pump It Up?
Typically up to 10-20 hours/week. Pay is $12 an hour plus Tips. Tips average $5 extra an hour.
Position DOES PRIMARILY REQUIRE NIGHTS AND WEEKEND WORK. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to work various shifts per week and be available weekdays and weekends. - Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation
- Have excellent time management skills
- Well organized/able to multi-task
- Possess good people and management skills
- Have strong phone and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- PREVIOUS RETAIL, CASHIER or DRIVE THRU EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. Pump It Up is a family focused business and this job requires significant interaction with both party hosts and birthday party guests. We seek qualified employees that are energetic, love interaction with kids, and are professional in appearance and presentation with guests.
This position is primarily responsible for phone reservations and guest interactions.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Greet Party guests
- Run front desk/lobby area during parties/events
- Fill in other staff positions as needed - Answer phones and return calls
- Take party reservations
- Make party confirmation calls
- Set up daily pizza order
- Give facility tours and answer questions about parties and events
- Preparing for and participating in Marketing Events
