A construction biller is responsible for preparing and submitting accurate and timely invoices to clients for construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract terms by reviewing project documents, tracking progress, and managing change orders, while collaborating with project managers and accounting teams to resolve any billing discrepancies and monitor outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Create and send invoices to clients based on project progress, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, and other costs.
- Thoroughly analyze construction contracts understanding payments terms.
- Process and incorporate change orders into invoices and ensure proper documentation and client approval.
- Verify accuracy of invoices submitted by subcontractors and vendors before billing clients.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Work closely with project managers, sales, and finance to ensure accurate and timely billing.
