Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Manage tax preparation and filing for individual and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide expertise in wills, trusts, and estate law as it pertains to financial planning.
- Maintain general ledger accounting and oversee all aspects of financial reporting.
- Offer guidance on governmental accounting standards as applicable to public sector clients.
- Collaborate with clients to develop effective financial strategies based on their unique needs.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and accounting standards to advise clients accordingly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification is required.
