Responsibilities
- Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial statements.
- Manage budgeting processes and assist in financial forecasting.
- Provide technical accounting support, including adherence to securities law where applicable.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quicken for effective financial management.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in technical accounting, including experience with balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
