The Coordinator of Entrepreneurship Programs provides leadership, guidance, and instruction to support the development and implementation of entrepreneurship education across grades K–12. The Coordinator is responsible for connecting students with real-world opportunities, collaborating with teachers, and serving as a visible representative of the program to donors, families, and external partners. Program Leadership and Representation
The Coordinator of Entrepreneurship Programs provides leadership, guidance, and instruction to support the development and implementation of entrepreneurship education across grades K–12. This role is integral to advancing the mission of the CASE Accelerator by fostering innovation, experiential learning, and career exploration for students. The Coordinator is responsible for connecting students with real-world opportunities, collaborating with teachers, and serving as a visible representative of the program to donors, families, and external partners. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Leadership and Representation
- Serve as the primary representative of the CASE Accelerator, addressing the needs of the development and alumni offices.
- Speak at public events upon request of school leadership, including principals, the president, admissions, and development teams.
- Organize and participate in events designed to highlight career pathways and entrepreneurial opportunities for students.
- Establish learning outcomes for entrepreneurship education and collaborate with faculty to translate these into curriculum and programming–those should be established in collaboration with the Principals.
- Teach or co-teach school year and summer courses or modules related to entrepreneurship, business, and financial literacy as determined by school needs.
- Act as a resource for teachers, providing expertise and support in integrating entrepreneurial thinking and practices into their courses.
- Develop and refine curriculum to ensure alignment with learning outcomes and institutional goals.
- Oversee students participating in the CASE Project Accelerator's distinction pathway, offering guidance and mentorship to promote hands-on, project-based learning.
- Support students in developing core entrepreneurial skills, including mission-building, marketing, partnerships, and communication.
- Connect students with mentors, guest speakers, and industry leaders to enhance experiential learning and networking opportunities.
- Facilitate student-led initiatives ranging from educational technologies to sustainability projects, emphasizing real-world applications.
- Build relationships with external partners, including businesses, nonprofits, and alumni, to create learning and internship opportunities for students.
- Collaborate with school leadership to design and implement programming that fosters innovation and career readiness.
- Maintain and grow partnerships with mentors and guest speakers to expand the CASE Accelerator's network and resources.
- Evaluate program success and propose strategic enhancements to improve student outcomes and community engagement.
- Work Year: 10.5 Months
- School Year: 2025 - 2026
- Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM, schedule may vary based on operational needs'
- Minimum Annual Salary*: $73,710, Compensation is commensurate with qualifications
- Punahou School offers a comprehensive total rewards program that includes competitive pay and benefits. The pay rate, if displayed, is the starting annual salary for the position. Pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors such as knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant training and experience, and internal equity.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Three (3) years of experience teaching in a K-12 environment including curriculum development, instructional support, or mentoring of students
- Proven experience in entrepreneurship, business development, education, or related fields.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire students in hands-on, experiential learning environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience working with donors and external stakeholders preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver curriculum aligned with program goals.
- Passion for fostering innovation, creativity, and problem-solving in students.
