Punahou's Junior School (K-8) Summer Programs are actively recruiting Instructors for the 2025 Extended Program. Position Details:
- Work Year: 1.5 Months
- School Year: Summer School 2025, June - July, Dates may vary depending on the course Extended Session (July 22 - 26)
- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Hours may vary depending on course
- Based on an hourly rate of: $38.21
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPR Certification preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience supervising students in an elementary school setting.
- Knowledge of age appropriate activities and expectations.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds; an understanding of the developmental needs of young children, sensitivity to each individual student’s needs; and ability to appreciate the variety of perspectives offered by individual viewpoints, disciplines and cultural understandings.
