What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Aide position at PUNXSUTAWNEY AREA HOSPITAL?
A full time position is available working in the Housekeeping Department primarily from 7A-3P including weekends and holidays as scheduled. Other shifts may be required as needed or scheduled.
Responsibilities consist of cleaning patient rooms and discharge rooms along with other areas of the Hospital. Must be willing to clean COVID areas. Respiratory protection training and testing will be provided. Previous housekeeping experience preferred. State Police Criminal background check required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The job requires a considerable amount of walking, kneeling, stooping, physical cleaning chores, moving and limited lifting (25 lbs- 30 lbs). Hazards include possible irritations from strong disinfectants and cleaning solutions.
