Role Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented Scientist I to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and experience with qPCR techniques. Experience with NGS library preparation and data analysis is highly preferred. As a Scientist I, you will play a key role in developing and executing experiments that drive our innovative molecular diagnostics technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments involving qPCR and other molecular biology techniques.
• Prepare NGS libraries (if applicable based on experience).
• Analyze NGS data and interpret results (if applicable based on experience).
• Contribute to the development and optimization of new molecular assays.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and analyze data.
• Collaborate effectively with other scientists and research staff.
• Present research findings at team meetings and contribute to scientific publications.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field with at least 1 year of postdoctoral experience.
• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of qPCR principles and techniques. (Required)
• Hands-on experience with DNA/RNA extraction, purification, and quality control.
• Experience with NGS library preparation is strongly preferred.
• Experience with NGS data analysis and bioinformatics tools is preferred.
• Experience with primer design software is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
