Job Responsibilities
As an Experienced Dog Bather, you will :
- Bathe dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Perform pre-bath grooming services such as brushing, de-shedding, and nail trims.
- Recognize and address potential skin or coat issues and communicate findings to the grooming team.
- Ensure work areas, tubs, and tools are clean and sanitized after each use.
- Maintain a calm, gentle demeanor to keep dogs comfortable and relaxed during baths.
- Work collaboratively with the grooming and daycare teams to ensure smooth scheduling and exceptional service.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience bathing dogs in a grooming, veterinary, or pet care environment.
- Knowledge of dog breeds and coat types, including appropriate bathing and de-shedding techniques.
- Ability to handle dogs up to 75 lbs. comfortably and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and passionate about working with dogs.
