What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Groomer position at Puppy Haven?
Compensation: Pay is very competitive and dependent on experience. Commission rate plus 100% of tips. We will also guarantee a minimum hourly wage. Puppy Haven pays for all shampoo, conditioner, supplies, equipment, tools and tool sharpening.
Puppy Haven is looking to hire an experienced groomer to work at our Smyrna location. This state-of-the art facility is brand new and has a grooming salon ready for you to make your own! You will closely work with the store’s front desk staff for scheduling and customer communication. With seven locations in Atlanta, and four that offer grooming, Puppy Haven has a proven business model that drives customer growth and ensure your services are as in-demand as your skills dictate! In fact, the two locations currently offering grooming are booked out well over one month in advance.
Candidates must be organized, reliable, professional, and willing to work weekends and holidays (if needed). Duties include performing all services typical for “full-service” dog grooming, including bathing the dogs.
At Puppy Haven Smyrna, you will be given the opportunity to work in a fun, low-stress environment and help build up the grooming department. With several requests for grooming daily, your schedule is sure to fill up quickly.
