Job Description:
Works directly under the guidance of the Campus Managers at the Edmond and NW OKC campuses to coordinate the spa services and team. The position will oversee all aspects of the spa team. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and work ethic. Work to continually have clear, consistent communication with Campus Managers and all departments: Hotel Ops, Guest Services, Academy and In Home Services.
Requirements:
- Maintain a level of EXCELLENT customer service.
- Comfortable and confident with all sizes and breeds of dogs.
- Have a full understanding of all the Spa SOP’s.
- Understand and operate within the Puppy Paws Service Standards.
- Be teachable and actively growing your knowledge and skills through continued education.
- Attention to detail and able to take instructions well and a good memory.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Creating and maintaining a positive culture and work environment.
- Exhibit cooperation and teamwork with ALL departments.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with Campus Managers and all other departments.
- Ensure checklists are relevant and the team comprehends and does their assigned checklist.
- Have a working knowledge of ALL department positions.
- Uphold Puppy Paws Core Values.
- Rotating days at each Campus.
- Training of all Spa Apprentice along with any retraining or continued training of all spa team members.
- Able to perform all the following job duties reliably.
Job Duties:
- Ensuring that the spa team upholds Puppy Paws standard of customer service. EXCELLENCE!
- Facilitates cleanliness of both Campuses spas including bathing room.
- Manages productivity of team, monitoring time goals & daily flow, assigning dogs to groomers to ensure productivity.
- HR updates for employee issues or concerns, call ins, tardiness, etc...
- Monitor dog safety, and make sure it is being upheld according to Puppy Paws Standards.
- Monitor scheduled grooms in PetExec and the electronic spa book to make sure they match, and services are scheduled correctly.
- Monitor spa waitlist and work clients in as you see margin.
- Monitoring of groom quality, and make sure it is being upheld according to Puppy Paws Standards.
- Make sure all team members are documenting notes correctly.
- Make sure all team members are properly maintaining equipment.
- Track groom numbers monthly for each groomer and report to appropriate Campus Manager.
- Keep supply list updated and handle monthly purchases according to needs and budget.
- Handling of spa call ins M-F
- On call Weekend rotation.
- Handling of employee Reviews and Course Corrections as needed.
- Employee Appreciation
- Updating daily notes for the Spa
- Weekly L10 meetings w/ Campus Managers.
- Communication with client according to Puppy Paws Standard.
- Customer Service points.
- Making sure all groom dogs have detailed notes
- Communicating professionally with clients about groom notes, any issues that may arise during groom, anything that is out of the dog's ordinary behavior, and if groom is running behind.
