Puppy Paws is open from 7am-7pm, 7 days a week.
Weekends & Holiday Availability is Required
As a Housekeeper, your main responsibility will be the cleanliness of our facility. This cleanliness ultimately ensures the safety and wellbeing of the dogs in our care. You will be expected to help maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in all areas of our facility.
You will be expected to LOVE the dogs, CARE for them and maintain a level of EXCELLENT customer service to our precious 4 legged clients! You need to be attentive and able to take instructions well. It is also important to exhibit cooperation and teamwork, and to follow and uphold Puppy Paws Guidelines. Our primary goals are:
- Focus on pet health & well-being by providing fun daily activities for pets
- Personal service – Knowing pups and their owners! We want to continually exceed our client’s expectations by building relationships and giving every dog the utmost attention and care they deserve
- Creating a fun and loving environment where pups enjoy spending time away from home.
Requirements

- Reliability and a consistent work ethic is a must, we are caring for precious pets
- Help to maintain and promote a positive culture
- Maintain EXCELLENT cleanliness
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Comfortability with dogs of all temperaments, sizes and breeds
- Ensure the dogs are having a safe by upholding our Cleaning SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Follow and uphold Puppy Paws dress code
- Able to lift up to 50 lb
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time
- Clear, consistent communication
- A passion for dogs and a gentle touch
- Previous cleaning experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Work from a task list for duties
- Maintain spotless doggy bedrooms and play areas
- Sanitize and refresh our play yards and communal spaces daily
- Help keep our entire facility pristine
- Maintain a safe environment for the dogs
- Be attentive to the dogs
- Understand and operate within the Puppy Paws Service Standards
- Ability to clean thoroughly
