Pups Path is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Representative to join our team in providing exceptional care for animals. This role requires a hands-on approach to animal care, ensuring that all animals are safe, happy, educated, and well-cared for throughout their stay.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with animals in the daycare, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility, including cleaning kennels, outside areas, and play areas. Monitor animal behavior and report any concerns to the management team. Support training activities as needed, including basic commands and socialization practices. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or larger animals.
Customer Interaction:
Engage with customers and clients on the sales floor regarding their pets and the needs of both owner and pet. Assist in keeping store floor, daycare, grooming area, break room, and outside areas clean.
Requirements:
Sales experience. Dog training or handling techniques. Customer service experience within an animal care setting. General animal handling skills, particularly with dogs and other pets. Experience with pet sitting or daycare environments is advantageous.
