Duties
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
- Assist with dog handling, including walking and exercising
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
- Support veterinary technicians in animal care procedures
- Provide pet care services such as feeding, grooming, and administering medications
- Assist with dog training activities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners
- Help with pet sitting and kennel duties
Skills
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques
- Experience in dog handling and care
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Knowledge of veterinary practices is a plus
- Familiarity with pet care procedures
- Skills in dog training techniques
- Strong customer service orientation
- Previous experience in pet sitting or kennel operations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
