Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and other pets.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management.
- Assist with dog training sessions as needed, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques.
- Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint methods when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred, including roles such as Veterinary Assistant or Pet Sitter.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques is a plus, along with experience in animal restraint methods.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care duties.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
