RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing catering inquiries, responding to client requests, and providing detailed information about catering services.
- Coordinate event logistics, including menu selections, event timelines, and special client requests.
- Drive sales in your territory by completing outreach and attending events to build a book of business.
- Maintain client relationships through proactive communication and follow-ups.
- Process payments, deposits, and final invoices in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and event details.
- Responsible for sending and updating catering order calendar invites.
- Create "Event Summary" forms for each event, ensure they are distributed properly to participating parties.
- Communicate with on-site event staff to ensure everyone has all of the information they need to produce a catered event that includes staff.
- Distribute catering marketing materials to assist in generating additional revenue.
- Attend events as needed to assist with set up and ensure the food is presented up to the Pura Vida standard.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in catering sales, event planning, or hospitality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Passion for hospitality and customer service.
