Position Overview :

The Quality Supervisor ensures the efficient and timely release of all raw materials and finished products according to defined testing parameters. Works cross-functionally with Production, Customer Service and Quality Team to problem solve and provide support as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

Overview or Execute Inspections of raw material, semi-finished & finished products

Overview or Execute RCA Quality Reporting

Facilitate investigation on customer complaints

Investigate nonconformities for a range of products / production lines and interface with all parties involved

Lead and perform root cause analysis and propose CAPA

Ensure appropriate actions are performed and documented to properly close the non- conformity

Issue intermediate (if required) and final reports to appropriate salesperson in a timely manner to guarantee a positive customer experience

Holds analysis

Facilitate the definition of corrective actions and preventive actions

Quality Reporting

Compile all data for monthly Performance Reporting

Report CAPA progress and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) weekly and raise any red flags that need to be addressed by Quality management or Production management

Food Safety

Identify food safety issues and take immediate action as defined by Quality procedures, in coordination with the Quality Manager

Daily, weekly verifications that the monitoring controls done by operators and production are executed according to SOP

Daily, weekly verification of the application and records of the Sanitation SOP's and SSOP's

Verification of the application and records of the HACCP plan

Verification of the application and records for the allergen program

Supervisor Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Quality Technicians dedicated to specific production lines

Validate working hours of reporting Quality Technicians

Organize the task and priorities of direct reports

Collaborate actively with functional partners, and inform, align on actions

Requirements : Education :

Bachelor's Degree within Food Science or Food Science / Technology. Other Science degrees would be considered.

Prior Knowledge / Experience

HACCP Certified

PCQI a plus

SQF experience a plus

Quality Tools like 6 sigma / Fishbone / 5S

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Excellent written & verbal communication skills

Pragmatic problem solver. Dynamic and pro-active personality who takes initiative

Positive personality and team player

Sympathetic to needs of customers motivated by offering a great experience
