Primary Responsibilities
- Plans and executes national trainings for Puratos employees.
- Understands the needs of the stakeholders and focuses the training to fit those needs.
- Build strong networks with external stakeholders/customers to include equipment manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, key accounts, and other external parties of importance to the business
- Is a member of cross-functional teams internally and has strong connections with other departments.
- Collaborates with R&D formulators to develop new products.
- Partner with customers on technical projects and manage the innovation pipeline of finished goods for customers with a focus on retail, large artisan, and semi-industrial a. identifying new business opportunities at customers (prospection)
- Implement appropriate solutions (existing and new)
- Detect products at risk.
- Make internal and external presentation and seminars explaining benefits of our products.
- Participate in strategic exercises intending to develop our business in the abovementioned products. This should be based on a good understanding of the local market.
- Partner with the marketing department to follow trends and create inspirational finished goods for customer material.
- Including and not limited to: i. Photoshoots for brochures/Newsletters ii. Webinars iii. Social Media Posts iv. Internal and External facing videos
- Ensure optimal performance of the Innovation Center
- Uphold the 5S system.
- Always act with a safety-first mindset
- Follow all GMP policies.
- Food Safety- comply with our food safety procedures upon new raw material selection, product development or modification and sample preparation.
- Report all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and / or head of Quality.
- Mentor junior members of the technical advisor team a.
- Speak for the customer to ensure the Puratos quality of finished goods is always upheld.
- Lead by example of how a technical advisor works with customers, “If it has to be it starts with me.”
- Manage accurately all technical administration.
- Keep all projects accurate and up to date in CRM.
- Utilize appropriate systems for the management of technical projects.
- Responsible for any other assignment given by direct supervisor.
- Travel: 40% of domestic travel is required, normal hazards and conditions consistent with such travel. Working occasional weekends and some occasional early/late workdays may be required.
- 5 years related work experience.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Baking/Pastry or related field
- Experience in food photography and videography
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Mathematical skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
