What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse / Customer Service Associate position at Purchase Green Artificial Grass?
Purchase Green Artificial Grass is looking for a friendly, helpful, and energetic Warehouse/Customer Service Associate who is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done. The associate will stage, load, and unfold finished product and raw materials and stock and maintain warehouse inventory. The associate will also assist with customer service by answering questions, and processing orders to successfully meet customer needs!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Packaging finished products for shipping by shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling. -
- Staging and loading finished products onto truck.
- Unloading raw materials from truck.
- Operating forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
- Generate Bills of Lading (BOLs) and shipping documents.
- Provide estimates, process invoices and accept payment from customers and contractors.
- Entering customer leads into lead management tool.
- Performing preventive maintenance on forklift, carpet cutting machine, and/or truck.
- Calculate amounts such as square footage, linear footage, area, circumference, volume, percentages, discounts and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Maintain knowledge of products and warehouse organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Preferred)
