The Opportunity: The Digital Experimentation Manager will optimize the customer journey and elevate conversion rates through a robust testing and experimentation strategy. You will play a pivotal role in driving incremental demand by leading impactful A/B and multivariate testing initiatives. This blend of a strategic and hands-on role is a unique opportunity to influence and optimize the digital experience for a leading eCommerce company, working in a fast-paced and agile environment.
What You Will Do:
Strategic Testing Leadership
- Develop and own the site A/B testing strategy and roadmap to increase conversion rates, improve user experience, and drive incremental revenue
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize testing opportunities based on business objectives and impact
Test Planning and Execution
- Manage the end-to-end experimentation process, including requirements gathering, test scoping, experiment design, KPI selection, technical setup, and quality assurance
- Manage our outside agency on the development of some tests, driving timely delivery and high-quality execution
Insights and Reporting
- Analyze test results and deliver actionable insights, reporting findings to stakeholders across the organization
- Use data-driven storytelling to communicate the impact of tests and make recommendations for future optimizations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with teams including Web Development, UX, Marketing, Promotions, and Customer Service to align on goals and coordinate testing initiatives
- Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of objectives and test designs
Process Optimization
- Enforce and continuously improve testing workflows, ensuring the timely launch of high-quality experiments
- Promote a culture of experimentation by sharing best practices, successes, and learnings with internal teams
The Experience You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, Computer Science or similar discipline
- 5 years of experience in digital optimization and A/B testing for a direct-to-consumer company
- 3 years of hands-on experience managing the end-to-end A/B testing process, including driving strategic roadmaps
- 2 years of experience using Adobe Target (or equivalent platforms) and Adobe Analytics
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana or Jira
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tests and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy and thoroughness in testing, the ability to analyze test results, understand hypotheses and draw actionable conclusions
- Demonstrates a strong Test and Lean mindset with an innate interest to identify and implement improvements to enhance the site experience and drive demand
- Ability to deliver results to all levels of the organization in a concise manner
- Strong project management and communication skills to work across diverse teams to effectively communicate with developers and ensure proper QA and tracking
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Monetate or similar testing platforms
- Experience working in a retail D2C ecommerce company
- UX design knowledge to enhance test ideation and implementation
- Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to troubleshoot QA technical implementations
