The Opportunity: The Senior Director of Treasury will provide leadership and direction of the Treasury department. Key responsibilities include balance sheet strategy development, asset/liability management, portfolio management, investor relations, capital planning, liquidity management, loan/deposit pricing, and other finance initiatives.
What You Will Do:
- Work directly with the CFO to provide strategic and tactical leadership on capital markets and planning, including warehouse credit facilities and securitization activities of the organization
- Manage the Company’s interest rate risk and liquidity
- Manage investor relations, including written reports to private equity group, board and other stakeholders regarding monthly performance
- Manage bank, debt investor, rating agency and external ABS audit firm relationships
- Review and approval of compliance reporting, including monthly servicer reports
- Implement, monitor, and report on the Company’s balance sheet strategies
- Facilitate cross-functional balance sheet and off-balance sheet management
- Develop and prepare cash flow analysis, incorporating liquidity considerations for assets, liabilities, and capital over various time horizons
- Take a leadership role in developing interest rate risk and other balance sheet management strategies that lead to strategic recommendations
- Manage the Company’s borrowings and other securitization efforts
- Perform analysis and prepare recommendations on capital structure strategy, capital allocation decisions and valuation
- Execute capital market transactions
- Assist the CFO in developing and managing Purchasing Power’s capital plan ensuring optimal capital structure is in place and meets regulatory guidelines
- Support cross-functional initiatives to deliver on risk management goals, policies and procedures
- Enhance or develop reporting tools used to communicate various components and potential risks and risk-mitigating strategies
The Experience You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
- 15 years of Financial Services industry experience preferred
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designations a plus
- Significant experience issuing Asset-Backed Securities and managing Asset-Backed revolving credit facilities
- Significant budget and forecasting experience, valuation experience, regulatory knowledge
- Solid understanding of Capital and Liquidity planning and A/L modeling concepts, and cash flow modeling techniques
- Proficient with all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work well with professionals at all levels of the organization
- Adaptable to changing environment and time pressures
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail and information accuracy
