The Opportunity: The Technical Business Analyst, Product Development will lead business stakeholders through the analysis, configuration, and launch phases of projects with a focus on delivering complete (end-to-end) solutions to complex business problems. The ideal candidate should be an experienced professional who is confident in understanding and communicating the purpose and value of technical business analysis to the organization. You must be a self-starter managing multiple tasks simultaneously, taking ownership of deliverables from start to finish, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
- Work with the cross-functional stakeholder teams to ensure user requirements are fully defined, documented, prioritized, and translated into functional specifications or system configurations
- Assist in monitoring and measuring the business impacts of the solutions you implement, defining reporting requirements and taking a hands-on approach to testing all required reporting
- Serve as a bridge between business, operations, and technology teams during all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
- Develop and maintain expertise in the functional components of critical business systems and processes
- Build a “trusted partner” relationship with functional department leaders and their teams
- Collaborate with various technical teams, including application engineering and quality assurance, to ensure that project deliverables meet the intended functional requirements
- Focus on customer satisfaction will be instrumental in the success of our projects
The Experience You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 4 years of direct Business Analysis experience
- Extensive SDLC experience in a variety of environments and utilizing several methodologies
- Agile project management experience is strongly preferred
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Visio, Excel, Word)
- Knowledgeable on business requirements gathering tools
- Familiar with visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau) to create clear and actionable data visualizations
- Must have experience with a range of technology-centric projects, including web technologies, databases, SaaS, and or Cloud-based technologies
