Overview

REVA Global is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Sales Representative to join their team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective clients, and closing sales. The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for growing business partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including networking, cold calling, email outreach, and online platforms. While REVA will generate leads for the Business Development Representative, the opportunity to create leads will be expected to maximize the compensation of the individual who holds the position.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Pitching and Presenting: Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, contracts, and agreements in alignment with company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to align on strategy and deliver a cohesive client experience.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather client feedback and relay insights to internal teams to improve products, services, and overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related field. Industry-specific experience is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and adapt to client needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Personality Traits: Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and resilient with a positive attitude.
  • Other Requirements: Willingness to travel and attend networking events or conferences as needed. Up to 7 days a quarter with all expenses being reimbursed by the company.
