Purdue Aviation, LLC is located at the Purdue University airport. We are an independent, for profit, Fixed Base Operator (FBO), that works with the University but is not part of the University. We are a charter operation, a flight school, an FAA repair station for aircraft, and provide fuel to all entities on the airport.
Summary
As a member of the Purdue Aviation team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities and aircraft. This position is vital to maintaining our high standards of service and safety at Purdue Aviation.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of Jet aircraft interiors and exteriors
- Remove trash and debris from aircraft
- Vacuum and sanitize carpets and upholstery
- Clean and disinfect lavatories
- Restock supplies, such as toilet paper and soap
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working around aircraft
- Maintain hangar cleanliness
- Conduct custodial duties to maintain cleanliness in FBO and office areas
- Maintain FBO grounds
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or detailing vehicles or aircraft is preferred
- Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
