Overview
Purdue Aviation, LLC is located at the Purdue University airport. We are an independent, for profit, Fixed Base Operator (FBO), that works with the University, but is not part of the University. We are a flight school, an FAA repair station for aircraft, and provide fuel to all entities on the airport.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience with our company. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. This position does not require previous aviation experience to be successful.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone and email
- Handle outbound calling to follow up on customer concerns and promote services
- Dispatching of all flight students
- Maintain a positive attitude while resolving customer complaints and issues effectively
- Document customer interactions in the office system accurately for future reference
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
Shift
- 2 pm to 10 pm
Requirements
- Proficient in typing with accuracy
- Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication abilities
- Experience in customer service or sales is preferred
- Proficient in English
- Ability to multitask efficiently while communicating with customers
- Familiarity with office software and systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some college preferred
