Essential Functions
- Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, and custom settings.
- Respond to user requests and assist with developing solutions to address business needs
- Set objectives and work independently on large, moderately complex technical projects or assignments under general supervision.
- Implement changes in and process to solve problems or improve systems effectiveness of area.
- Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
- Identify unused or underutilized platform features.
- Aid in Salesforce and vendor upgrades to ensure successful integration.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide support and training to staff on the use of Salesforce applications.
- Create and maintain documentation for Salesforce supported applications.
- Provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals or support employees.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Proficiency in development organization end-user requirements and system capabilities.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders from a wide range of professional and cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to use tact, sound judgment, diplomacy, maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion.
- Motivated, adaptable team player with the ability to work well with others in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM preferred.
Required Education/Experience and Benefits
- Associates Degree preferred
- 3-5 years relevant work experience required
- Experience at Purdue University or development experience preferred.
