Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main user of Intacct functionality and process
- Maintain grant codes in Intacct and integrated platforms (Amazon, Bill.com)
- Support in key monthly processes
- Upload and reconcile payroll from Paylocity
- Reconcile various third-party platforms
- Serve as finance team liaison to schools on the Divvy (credit card) platform (e.g., requests for increases, etc.)
- Oversee monthly entry of receipts by another team member; ensure correct coding and use of fund codes
- Serve as backup on regular Bill.com (accounts payable) activity
- Lead certain quarterly/annual activities
- Prepare various reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts
- Manage vendors and print annual 1099 tax forms
- Assist in the preparation of the audit and other compliance filings
- Prepare Form 9 biannually
- Daily management of Finance Team email, coordination with HR and leadership as relevant
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective operations of the schools
Requirements
Required Skills and Preferred Qualification:
• 0-2 years related experience in general accounting.
• Familiarity with the operations of an educational institution preferred.
• Experience in Nonprofit Accounting and grant reimbursement preferred.
• Associate degree in accounting, business, or finance, preferred but not required.
• Self-starter, attention to detail, able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and recording financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, and Power Point and Googlle Suite - Documents, Sheet, and Drive.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
