About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales and business development sole contributor with 5 years of success in selling online learning, content solutions, or SAAS applications at scale to Business, Institutions, and Government entities in the U.S.; international sales experience is a plus. We are seeking someone with demonstrated abilities in driving sales for online training and education programs or similar and who is prepared to be an ambassador for the new competency of Tech Diplomacy. This individual will be a revenue-goaled team member and will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing hands-on sales strategies to expand our market presence and achieve revenue targets, eventually growing the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively call and close existing and new opportunities in our pipeline
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships with potential donors, funders, organizations, channel partners and VAR's that can rapidly extend our reach to large audiences worldwide
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to promote KITDP's Tech Diplomacy Academy, including both current and future programs
- Travel as requested to make presentations, pitches, close deals, visit customers, give lectures, make onstage presentations and give demos about our product and mission
- Maintain and present sales pipeline status for weekly reporting to leadership, leveraging Hubspot for pipeline tracking
- Collaborate with Marketing team to create compelling messaging, sales collateral and presentations
- Work alongside Customer Success team to onboard your customers
- Stay abreast of edtech industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision making
- Analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
