We seek a Clinical Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership to join our team and contribute to our mission of preparing future leaders who use business acumen for societal good. Our next colleague will teach and mentor undergraduate or graduate students and engage with the community and professional organizations on behalf of the college or university. The successful candidate will have experience and achievements in business and/or other professional practices. The Clinical Assistant Professor will engage in program review and curriculum development and contribute to program development and facilitation in the Leadership Institute starting August 2025.
Responsibilities
The duties include teaching, student mentoring, and engagement as assigned by the Chairperson and/or Dean. Fulltime equivalence will be a combination of teaching semester courses and contributing to programming in the leadership institute. Namely, three undergraduate or graduate courses per semester (e.g., Leadership, OB, Human Resources Management, etc.) and facilitation of leadership and professional development programming in the Leadership Institute. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective teaching that encourages student learning and is responsible for collecting, assessing, and reporting student learning for the AACSB Assurance of Learning. The successful candidate will also mentor students by providing support for development of professional practical skills. The successful candidate will work collegially and professionally with students, employees, and other stakeholders. Successful candidates will demonstrate substantial ability to interact with regional businesses, engage students through innovative curricula and learning approaches, and contribute to College and University service and engagement.

Education, Experience, Training and/or Certifications
- Must have a Master degree or Ph.D. in business or related areas.
- Commitment and evidence of successful teaching experience at a college level is required.
- Qualified candidates should have professional experience in business, management, or higher education.
- Candidates will demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to learn and use learning technology and platform such as Brightspace.
- Ability to teach multi-cultural student population.
- Meet faculty qualification for AACSB accreditation.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars, in addition to office hours.
- Setting and grading assignments, tests, and exams.
- Be highly organized, with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively.
- Assist with program-related duties and administrative tasks, including placement, orientation, proctoring, student evaluations, curriculum, and program review.
- Understand and adhere to university policies and guidelines.
- Able to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Competency in effective and appropriate online (synchronous and asynchronous) delivery and in-person instructions.
