Job Summary
The Student Service – Airport Operations & Maintenance Will Assist Purdue University Airport Operations With Maintenance Tasks On The Airfield Including, But Not Limited To
- Mowing and maintaining the turf on the airfield
- Painting runway and taxiway markings
- Assembling light fixtures
- Administrative tasks as assigned
Required
- Must be:
- a enrolled Purdue student
- able to work over the summer
- able to complete provided training to operate on the airfield
- Operate a two-way radio for communicating with air traffic control
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Operate a zero turn lawn mower and string trimmer
- Work independently
- Applicants should be available to work at least 20 hours per week over the summer, typically during the hours of Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm.
- Interested applicants must submit a resume, cover letter, and a copy of their class schedule.
- Pay range is $12 - $13 per hour.
