- Assist in providing user support for HPC systems, software, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HPC-related issues and communicate effectively with users.
- Participate in projects related to HPC user support tool development.
- Document best practices, FAQs, and user guides to improve support services.

- Interest in High-Performance Computing (HPC): The candidate should have a genuine interest in HPC and a desire to learn more about this field.
- Basic Linux Proficiency: Familiarity with the Linux operating system and basic command-line usage.
- Programming and Scripting Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with programming languages like Python, Bash scripting, or other relevant languages will be a plus.
- HPC Experience (Preferred): Any prior experience with high-performance computing systems, parallel computing, or clusters can be beneficial.
- Career Opportunities: This experience can be a stepping stone to future careers in HPC, IT, or related fields. Many HPC centers hire former student assistants who have gained valuable experience during their time as student research assistants.
