Job Description : Job Summary
The Associate Health Physicist, under general supervision of the Radiation Safety Officer, perform duties related to the recognition, evaluation, and control of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation at the West Lafayette and regional campuses. Respond on a 24-hour basis to radiological emergencies. May involve exposure to heights, extreme temperatures, hazardous chemicals, close spaces and lifting requirements up to 50 lbs. Value diversity by working effectively with people from different viewpoints and backgrounds.

This is a dual level posting where the hiring manager will determine the level of the position commensurate with the education and experience of the chosen candidate.
What We're Looking For :
Education and Experience Required :
For the Associate Health Physicist you will need the following :
- A Bachelor's Degree in Health Physics or closely related field (i.e., Environmental Health, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, etc.) is required
- No experience required
