JPUR (jpur.org) is a journal of Purdue undergraduate research sponsored by the Office of the Provost, published once a year. An exceptional undergraduate student is needed to act as Marketing Coordinator and Assistant Journal Coordinator for this important publication. This position will offer the successful candidate great experience in publishing and project management, as well as in promotional activities appropriate to the field of publishing. This student will need to work with undergraduate authors, faculty advisors, the faculty and student advisory boards, and Purdue University Press staff members. The Marketing Coordinator/Assistant Journal Coordinator will work 5-8 hrs/wk (often less) assisting in planning issues; organizing meetings; managing manuscript submissions; promoting the journal online and at campus events; and other duties.
