Job Description : Job Summary
Conferences & Event Design manages over 200 conferences and events annually. As Lead Event Planner, this position plans and execute a roster of complex programs and events, serves as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for clients. This position leads a team of Event Planners and set the standard for event planning team in the areas of customer service, ensuring high return on value to customers through a quality experience. Advise the Event Planners assigned to meet individual and departmental goals. Create and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders and vendors on campus and in the community.
This is a dual level position where the hiring manager will determine the level commensurate with the education and experience of the chosen candidate.

What We're Looking For :
Education and Experience Needed :
- Bachelor's degree with college coursework in Hospitality Management (the events, conferences, and / or meetings and special events industry)
- Minimum four (4) years of experience within hospitality in events and sales
- Consideration will be given to a candidate with relevant experience, in lieu of a degree
