What We're Looking For :
- Create responsive, dynamic websites using various graphics software applications, techniques, and tools.
- Implement design changes to Purdue OWL / College of Liberal Arts websites under art direction and in adherence to Purdue branding guidelines.
- Provide web design guidance to college staff using Cascade and Word Press to enhance website performance and usability.
- Work closely with content owners within the College of Liberal Arts to ensure page accuracy.
- Utilize the approved ticket system to prioritize and complete tasks, meeting design expectations in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report relevant website metrics to encourage user engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accessibility guidelines and uphold design and usability standards for web pages.
As a Web Designer you will need the following education :
Bachelor's degree, in computer graphics technology, web design and development, computer science or related field. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working in content management systems, including template design and development.
