As a part of our innovative and service-minded marketing and communications team, our Salesforce data intern will learn the basics of the customer relationship management software and marketing automation for new student recruitment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to testing flows, performing data imports, day-to-day diagnostic tasks, support with documentation for existing processes and completed tasks, and completing components of larger projects under the direction of the Salesforce Administrator. Knowledge of Salesforce or similar software is useful but not required.
This is a remote position. During the academic year 8-12 hours a week are expected, with remote work also available in the summer.
- Familiarity with basic database systems
- Planning and organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management skills
- Ability to follow guidelines, structure and established policy while working with others
- Technical proficiency using Windows or Mac operating systems.
- “Can – do” attitude and a desire to learn Salesforce.
- Experience with database structures and data management
- Experience with customer relationship management software
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office apps.
