The College of Veterinary Medicine (PVM) at Purdue University is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to serve in a dual role as Schedule Deputy and Accommodations Coordinator. This position involves close collaboration with various departments and teams to ensure the smooth operation of academic scheduling and accommodations for students. As Schedule Deputy, the individual will collaborate with the Registrar and internal PVM departments to prepare the master academic schedule of classes for each term. They will ensure internal PVM calendars (room and class cohort) align with the master academic schedule and accurately reflect all departmental and student extracurricular events, working with faculty and staff to maintain up-to-date calendars. As Accommodations Coordinator, the individual will coordinate with the Disability Resource Center, the Purdue Testing Center, the Veterinary Education Support Team (VEST), and individual instructors to provide course-level support for rescheduled and accommodated testing for PVM students, ensuring that all accommodations are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.

Required:
- High school diploma/GED
- 3 years of work experience that demonstrates the ability to adhere to a timeline with great attention to detail
Skills Needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Manage frequent interruptions, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to communication with all levels of colleagues
- Interpret policies and procedures to proactively resolve issues or improve processes
- Comfortable sharing work for review and making corrections as needed
- Maintain detailed records regarding exams and student accommodations
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills specifically Outlook Calendars, Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of Purdue’s UniTime scheduling system, BrightSpace, Banner, and Course Insights
