This position will serve as graduate and undergraduate coordinator, providing administrative support to the Director of Graduate Studies and Director of Undergraduate Studies. Assume primary responsibility for rebuilding,updating, and maintaining department website and associated webpages. Provide support as needed to the Lead Administrative Assistant. Assume primary responsibility for annual and ongoing department events, including the Literary Awards, Woodman Lecture, and visiting Writer Series.
At Purdue, the Senior Administrative Assistant can expect to provide high-level administrative support for an individual, group of professionals, department, program or other administrative function. Independently perform non-routine administrative functions exercising discretion, such as coordinate events, conduct searches for information, prepare reports or handle special projects. Draft and edit correspondence, promotional materials or presentations. May monitor operating budget and maintain financial records. Handle non-routine inquiries and issues from internal and external sources.

What We're Looking For :
