The School Tutor will provide academic support and guidance to students in need of assistance in various subjects. They will work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify student needs and develop individualized learning plans. This position will work out Queen of All Saints Catholic School located in Michigan City, IN. Pay is $13.00. PNW Federal Work Study Students only.
Responsibilities
- Identify Student Needs : work with teachers to assess students' academic strengths and weaknesses to determine areas requiring additional support.
- Develop Individualized Learning Plans : Create tailored study plans based on each student's specific needs and goals.
- Provide Academic Support : Offer one-on-one tutoring sessions to help students understand and master course material.
- Monitor Student Progress : Track students' academic progress and adjust learning plans as needed.
- Communicate with Teachers and Parents : Maintain regular communication with teachers and parents to share student progress and discuss any concerns.
- Promote Positive Learning Environment : Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students
