Overview of Temporary - International Support
The Admissions and Recruitment department is seeking Part-Time Temporary International Support. The Temporary International Support position reports to the Director of International Admissions and Immigration Services. Temporary International Support position assists with immigration and related services for international students, exchange visitors, and employment based visa holders.
Pay:
- $15 - $20
Hours:
- 15 - 20 hours per week during regular business hours
Duties and Responsibilities of Temporary International Support
- Deliver services related to international students and scholars in order to facilitate compliance with federal regulations governing immigration and visa status and to ensure student success
- Support international admissions with data-entry, application management, credential evaluations, etc, as needed and ISS responsibilities permitting
- Other duties as assigned
Education of Temporary - International Support
- BA/BS degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Experience of Temporary - International Support
- One-year experience in a university office setting or an immigration law firm, including some experience in service to international students in the United States
- Working experience with SEVIS and immigration regulations highly preferred
- Experience with Slate, Banner Student Information System, and Sunapsis desirable
Core Competencies of Temporary - International Support
- The applicant should have experience being a Designated School Officer (DSO)
