The Primary Care team at Purdue Veterinary Hospital is growing! Do you love wellness care and your involvement in keeping pets healthy? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our team to help with patient restraint and care, assisting with sample collection, ordering and stocking of supplies, exam room flow during appointments, and elective procedure assistance. This position will allow you to work with a passionate team focused on wellness, preventive care, dentistry, and exotics in a specialty hospital environment.
All members of the team are respected for their knowledge and experience and recognized for their contributions to educating students and helping us provide fantastic patient care. We are looking for someone with experience in preventive care, with a great attitude and willingness to learn more.

What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience
Qualified candidates will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills Needed:
- Able to listen to and follow both verbal and written directions
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills with the ability to read and write in English
- Must have confidence around domestic animals
Preferred:
- Veterinary experience
- NAVTA Veterinary Assistant certification
