Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grocery Associate to join our team. The Grocery Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean shopping environment.
Duties
- Assist customers in locating products and provide information on product features
- Stock and rotate products on shelves, ensuring neat and organized displays
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Upsell products to customers and promote special sales or discounts
- Conduct product demonstrations when required
- Maintain cleanliness in the store, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Requirements
- Experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
