PURE BARRE TEACHER
Pure Barre is looking for dynamic and confident individuals that are high performers with a passion for fitness to join our team. A background in dance, cheerleading, or fitness is helpful but not required. Musicality and the ability to lead a room of up to 20 people are musts! If you are a good fit for the job, you will also be friendly, reliable, highly skilled at multitasking, have excellent communication skills, and be genuine and passionate about helping others.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic, confident and outgoing personality with a passion for fitness, wellness, and helping others
- Ability and desire to build client relationships through outstanding customer service
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and natural willingness to go above and beyond
- Confidence to energetically command a room of 20 people
- Musicality - ability to keep rhythm and count to the beat of music
- Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept (ideal but not required)
- Pure Barre Classic teaching certification (see below)
Responsibilities:
- Availability to teach a minimum of 3 classes per week plus rotating weekends.
- Diligent planning and preparation before each class, including careful study of choreography which changes regularly.
- Make use of communication and scheduling apps outside of scheduled work hours in order to remain looped in to studio events and scheduling needs.
- Ability to lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain a high level of energy throughout class is required.
Certification:
- Pure Barre Classic certification is a prerequisite for employment. Candidates not already certified will be considered for post-training employment as well as scholarship opportunities for the training program.
- The certification process for new teachers includes 4 days of live training followed by approximately 35-days of self-paced asynchronous work and weekly coaching sessions with our Lead Teacher in preparation for "test out".
