Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized office assistant to join our team. Your task will be to help assist office admin with documents and paperwork that need to be completed in a timely manner. You will also help answer phones and provide customer support by answering/updating our customers. We require basic knowledge working with Excel, Microsoft Word and general computer knowledge is recommended. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a company that has been around for over 50 years and is continuing to grow and persevere.
Duties:
- Help answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to emails and other correspondence.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry and office management.
- Utilize computerized systems to track customer information/order status and maintain accurate and up to date information.
- Support the office team with various tasks that are needed, including added on assignments.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Skills
- Strong clerical skills with experience in office management and customer support.
- Proficiency in computerized systems and ability to computerize tasks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Bilingual is a plus, but not needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.75 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
