Take the Stage Camps, hosted by Pure Energy Dance Productions, provide an immersive performing arts experience for kids. Our program blends singing, acting, dancing, and theatrical performance to inspire creativity and confidence in young performers.
Job Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals with a background in the performing arts to join our team as Summer Camp Instructors. Ideal candidates will have experience in singing, acting, dancing, or theater and must love working with kids!
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging and interactive performing arts workshops in singing, acting, and/or dance
- Inspire and encourage campers to build confidence and express themselves creatively
- Assist in choreographing and directing small performances
- Ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all campers
- Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and camp staff
- Provide guidance and mentorship to young performers
- Support overall camp activities and events
Qualifications:
- Experience in performing arts (theater, dance, singing, etc.)
- Passion for working with children and fostering a creative learning environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Prior teaching or camp experience is a plus
- Ability to commit to the full summer camp schedule
