Description
The process of arranging and preparing the physical layout of an event space from a BEO or room diagram including: placing tables, chairs, decorations, placing linens down, ironing, silverware and any necessary equipment in their designated positions, essentially creating the desired visual and functional setup for upcoming events.
Key aspects of setting up position events:
Venue assessment: Evaluating the event space to determine the best placement for elements like tables, chairs, easels, and registration desks based on the event diagram created by the Lake Raystown Resort sales manager.
Furniture placement: Arranging tables, chairs, and other seating options according to the floor plan, considering the required capacity and pre-determined layout.
Decorative elements: Ironing linens, centerpieces, silverware placement and other decorative items to enhance the event aesthetic.
Event setup crew: Responsible for physically placing and arranging all event elements according to the floor plan.
Qualifications
