Description
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Prepare food for food service at instruction of Food & Beverage Director (including but not limited to chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, portioning foods, etc.)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow instructions of Food & Beverage Director and/or Back of the House Manager
- Clean up stations and take care of leftover food
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out of kitchen in a high quality and timely coordinated manner
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, customers and Front of the House Staff
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Proven cooking experience as a line cook or prep cook preferred
- Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
- All staff under 18 must have a worker’s permit provided by your local school district.
